Trusting the Process Towards Your Purpose

If you are anything like me then you probably always want to know what's going on, but when you think about it that's not trust.  We have to trust God with our lives while knowing that He's working out a good and perfect plan for our lives (Proverbs 3:5-6, Jeremiah 29:11).

When Your Emotions Want To Control Your Life!

Our emotions have a tendency of wanting to lead us into doing what they want to do regardless of the consequences at times.  Our emotions will tell us to stay in a toxic relationship, and we know that's not the best solution for our lives.  Our emotions and feelings will tell us to eat a cheesesteak at 11 p.m. knowing that's not the best thing to do when we are looking to be fit and healthy. 
Colossians 3:15 says Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.  We are to let peace rule us and not our emotions.  It's a process that takes time, but we can do it with God's help.

Journey To Becoming You!

2 Corinthians 3:18
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
We are "becoming" each new day.  We have to embrace who we are and love ourselves as God created us.  It's His job to do a work in us as we become more like Him.  Love yourself and accept who you are.  No longer shrinking, or looking for validation.  Enjoy your journey to becoming you as you fulfill your purpose in the earth.

The Dangers of Entertaining Gossip

Proverbs 16:28 says A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.  It is clear and biblical that anyone who entertains gossip can not be trusted.
Gossip is hurtful and something that I have personally felt the sting of.  I pray that this episode encourages, inspires, edifies, and will move some to repent and reconcile.

Living for an Audience of One

The word of God reminds us in Galatians 1:10, Ephesians 6:7, and Colossians 3:23-24 that our lives should be lived for God and not as unto man.  Our human nature still desires validation from man, and if we are honest about it, all of us want to be validated, loved, liked, appreciated, and accepted to a certain extent.  But, when does this desire get out of balance, and how can we get a hold on it with a healthy perspective?

My Journey and Belief

Greetings,
Today I wanted to share a little about myself and how my journey started.  I pray that my message encourages you today and that it will inspire you to never give up and to always believe in yourself.
Jeremiah 29:11 changed my life and my perspective.  This scripture gave me hope and the motivation to believe again.  We can always begin again, and when we stay connected to God we have to realize that we already have the victory through Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says to Trust in the Lord with all our heart and to lean not on our own understanding; acknowledge God in all our ways and He will direct our steps.
When we fill our everyday lives with thankfulness and gratitude and stop letting the challenges of life steal our joy we can appreciate the journey.  When our focus stays on God and we pray about everything we can rest assured that God will keep us aligned with His purpose for our lives.  Gratitude + Surrender= Purpose Driven Life!!
