SUMMER SERIES: Preparing While You Wait
Week 2: Heal Before You Build
 
Many of us spend so much time chasing the blessing that we never stop to ask ourselves:
Am I prepared for the blessing?
 
The waiting season isn't punishment, it's preparation.
While we're waiting, God is inviting us into a deeper relationship with Him. He's calling us to seek His will, His purpose, and His heart instead of pursuing our own agenda.
 
Too often, we want God to bless our plans, when He has already created us for His purpose.
 
Before God builds what's next in our life, He wants to heal what's broken within us.
He wants to restore our heart, renew our mind, and transform us from the inside out.
 
Romans 12:1–2 reminds us:
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
 
When our minds are renewed, we stop chasing what satisfies the flesh and begin pursuing what pleases the Father. We become more sensitive to His voice, more obedient to His leading, and more prepared for the purpose He has ordained for our lives.

There comes a point in every woman's life when she has to ask herself a difficult but life-changing question:
 
Am I simply waiting for my circumstances to change, or am I allowing God to change me?
 
Many of us pray for the next season, the next opportunity, the relationship, the promotion, or the breakthrough. But while we're focused on what we're waiting for, God is often focused on who we're becoming.
 
In this powerful four-week summer series, we'll discover how God uses seasons of waiting to prepare us, not punish us. We'll talk about developing godly character, growing in confidence, healing from past hurts and disappointments, trusting God's timing, living purposefully right where we are, and becoming spiritually prepared for everything God has in store.
 
This isn't just another message, it's an invitation to allow God to do a deeper work within you.
